Q. What is an OEM?
A. An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is a company that builds a product which it sells under its own company name and brand. An OEM such as Epson or HP will manufacture the product and assign a unique part number to that product. At Cartridge Direct we provide the OEM part number to assist you in finding a compatible cartridge.
Q. What is a compatible cartridge?
A: Compatible simply means that thought the product is not necessarily an original, it will still fulfill the same purpose. For example most people do not use HP paper in HP printers; they something similar that works just as well. In addition "compatible cartridges" may be separated into two categories. They may contain either "100% new components" or new and recycled components.
Q. What is a remanufactured cartridge?
A: A remanufactured cartridge is a cartridge that has been manufactured from new and recycled components. It has been rebuilt to match the exact specifications of the original. In many cases, OEM cartridges actually contain recycled or recovered materials. (Its usually listed in the fine print somewhere in an inconspicuous place). In addition some OEMs even sell their own brand of remanufactured cartridges.
Q. Do compatible or remanufactured cartridges last as long as OEM?
A: All of our compatible or generic cartridges are manufactured according to OEM specifications. They are guaranteed to perform as well as the originals. Some of our products outperform the original page yields as much as 50%!

A. All cartridges are individually tested during manufacture and must pass thorough a Triple Quality Control before they are shipped to you. Our quality standards include testing each component prior to manufacturing, during production and even after our products are on the shelf.

Q: When will my order arrive?
A: cartridgedirect.com does its best to ship all orders accepted before 12 noon Eastern Standard time on the same business day. We offer standard 2-5 business days shipping. Our customers often comment that they receive their orders much faster than expected. Depending on where you are located, we ship from our warehouses in Canada and the U.S.A. This eliminates the possibility of customs or border delays from occurring.
Q: Do you offer refunds if I am unhappy with the product?
